Lululemon BFD Lounge

During the 2013 Lululemon Sea Wheeze Half Marathon, the event team at Lulu wanted a new and creative way to share the story of their efforts to repurpose and reclaim their materials. The BFD lounge at the marathon's home base was fabricated out of a combination just that. Under the design direction of debrand founder Wes Baker, we fabricated the entire lounge with each piece including some level of reclaimed materials. From stool cushions made of accordion-style rolled yoga mats to hammocks woven with reclaimed bag straps, this lounge spoke to the unique effort that Lulu has put into their product lifecycle.
