Interstellar Activation

For Christopher Nolan's sci-fi opus, Interstellar, Thinkingbox collaborated with Paramount Pictures to create an immersive 4D activation featuring the Oculus Rift DK2.  The objective of the 4D project was to encapsulate Nolan’s vision into a self-contained experience where users would be transported throughout one of the spaceships featured in the film, the Endurance. A custom scenic platform consisted of zero-gravity chairs atop a concealed air compressor that raised and lowered the users during key moments of the experience. I was the Production Manager and Technician for the European tour.
